WORDS

Love Letters

Writing was my first love, and will probably be my last.

As an Irish person, storytelling is in my bones.

So even when I’m not writing, I’m always writing.

In words, I attempt to capture the ordinary magic of life on earth with a nod to the unseen, the ineffable, and the unknown.

King

Mountain to Move

What if I just want to write at night? – have I upended this unwritten rule? – what happens if I really do what I need to do? – and it shakes the bones – but reveals the dark light? – as if this was

Sky

This morning I spiraled down into my body from the astral, like a paraglider – woke up giggling and dizzy, looking for you – came to my aloneness with a glad smile – anyway, I’ve spent parts of the night wrapped in

Transfigure

Dreamt again of rearranging furniture with such purpose – and a root vegetable that I grated and shaved into decorative ribbons to announce the import of this place – all these ordinary things made extraordinary by the way I lay them in relation
